Red and white sausage stuffer, model DL14 - no serial number. Known as "The Ward Swift Sausage Machine". Label in image 3 says: "Sole manufacturers. The Silent Machine & Eng. Co. Albion Works, Saville st. Prop: - Thos. W. Ward Ltd. Tel. 26311 Sheffield 4. Model DL 14." The sausage skin goes on the long metal pole at the front (see image 8) and the minced meat filling moves from the mincer (see images 9 & 10) along the gouged metal belt (see images 5, 6 & 7) towards the skins. See catalogue record VFM0.800.0167 for the meat grinder which is a pair with this sausage stuffer. Donated by Les Ruffell, a one time lamb drafter, in November 1999. Owned by Marlborough Vintage Farm Machinery Society.
