Collection VFM (unaccessioned) General
Description Painted green, Kapai marine engine - no serial number - made by Arthur & Dormer Engineers of Nelson Street, Auckland. They made them in 1, 2 and 3 horse power between 1905 and 1914 with 4.7 inch bore and 6 inch stroke. Petrol start then kerosene ignition was low tension with Schebler carburettors. The lever standing up is the clutch for changing gear. Not to be sold or given away.
