| Description |
Blue Ruston petrol stationary engine, Class VYO - serial number 192039. Has "Hornsby Limited" labels on each side with "Ruston, Lincoln, England" in raised writing on the front. Another label says, "John Burns & Co., sole agents Auckland and Christchurch". The carburetter intake has been covered with a cut down plastic container to keep moisture out.
This engine is on permanent loan from the Doris Holdaway Trust, 3 Springhaven Place, Blenheim, as of 2007. |
