Collection VFM (unaccessioned) General
Description Dull green "The Lister" stationary petrol engine, model L, plus drum and tank - serial number 25276. It was used for driving the sawbench it is sitting on. The National engine also sitting on the sawbench is VFM570.

Manufactured by R.A. [Robert Ashton, known as Ashton] Lister & Co. Ltd, Dursley, England, who began in the town in 1867 and are still there in 2009, although on a much reduced scale.
