Date 1918
Description Dark red Challenge petrol stationary engine, no model number - no serial number - one and one half horse power. Manufactured in 1918 by Challenge Company, Batavia, Illionois, US.A.

It is together, with what is probably a variant of the same model [see VFM422], on a three wheeled trolley which includes two power points and a battery box, none of which originally came with the engine.
