Date 1912
Description Hornsby stationary engine - serial number 45759. A sign on the machine says, "R. Hornsby & Sons 1912 - 14 1/2 h.p. (horse power)." Another sign says, "restored by Vintage Farm Machinery 1985."

This is the first of four machines donated by Bernard J. Vavasour of Toi Downs, Blenheim to Havelock Museum. They gifted it to Vintage Farm Machinery at Brayshaw Park because there was no where to keep it at Havelock.
