Record 57/102 Catalog Record Motorcycles Exhibit Page Home Search Image 1 of 8 Description  Mark 1 red Mountain Goat farm bike made by Motor Components Limited, in Waitrar, near New Plymouth, New Zealand for Starline Distributers.Has an 80cc Suzuki motor and was made with 8 inch wheels with tractor grip tyres. Has a frame made with square tubing. Prior to 1970 New Zealand had restrictions on motorcycles, but in the 1960s there was a growing demand for farm bikes so the restrictions were lifted provided any bike manufactured in New Zealand had 60% New Zealand content.
