Collection Ron Hebberd
Date c.1974
Description Drawings made by Barry Bridges at an after event during the New Zealand Trials Championship held in Marlborough about 1974. The event was held at the Riverlands Hall. Ron Hebberd drew some stick figures and wrote captions, then Barry made coloured drawings of them. They were made of people attending the Championship and show little quirks or happenings to that person. About 20 were made, most were taken home by the person they depicted. The rest were kept by Ron Hebberd and are displayed on a wall in his Motorcycle Museum.

Barry Bridges is a sign writer and started the Blenheim business BB Signs. In the 1970s he was the Rural Fire Chief for Marlborough. He was given a bottle of whiskey for making the drawings.
