Clay butter cooler. Consists of a clay plate and a clay cover which has four embossed decorative rings around it, one on the side and three around the top. The knob shaped handle on the cover has a hole in the top. Water was allowed to drip in to keep it moist. The potters were Watcombes of Torquay, England. Donated by Lee Charters.
