Description Shell grinder for making grit for hens. Made of cast iron, the "Never Fail" manufactured in Plymouth, U.S.A. by The Root Heath [Manufacturing] Co.
The shells are fed into the top hopper and the handle on the right is turned to spin the fly wheel that has teeth on it which will crush the shells.
