Description Broderie-anglais bodice, machine sewn except for hems. There are v shaped insets both front and back. A decorative edge around the lower hem appears to be designed to hold ribbon. Mid length sleeves have crochet lace around edges are all part of the same piece as the bodice and are not inset.
Owned by Mrs Hardwicke and may have been made in Paris or London.
