Description 
These gold scales were used in the gold rush days in Picton over 100 years ago. They were portable and could be taken apart and placed in the wooded box below. Donated by the Bank of New Zealand, Picton branch. Comes with lead wights, as shown here, and a small ready recknoer (see PMHS.100.0002).
