| ' Agricultural scenes on R. Allen's property'. Research has discovered that a Robert Allan owned ' Seaview', a property at the Awatere River mouth, from 1887 to 1900. Another collection in the archives includes copies of these photographs and has labeled them 1910. It appears that Mr. McCusker may have been experimenting with new technology as some of the following plates are glass and some film, also some have widely varying exposure over several views of the same scene.
