"Dear Ethel
Many thanks for letter Pleased to hear from you and that you arrived home safely hope you have had plenty of work since you have been back and that you are keeping well not quite so busy now shall be glad when we have our holiday. Hope your Mother & Sister got back after their holiday alright and feel all the better for their change was sorry I could not put your brother up and his friend the week they wanted to come, but was quite full up. hope Bessie is keeping well now must close with much love to you both from us all sincerely J? F?. Dives What do you think of this card --- thats it thats right".
