Description 
Imperial portable typewriter, "The Good Companion, Model T", in a black case. Manufactured by the Imperial Typewriter Company Limited, Leicester, England. Serial number is 2 FX 787. The crest says, 'by appointment to the late King George V", he died 20 January 1936, King George VI began his reign on 11 December 1936. King Edward VIII was in between, so this typewriter was made in 1936. Found in Archives storeroom in January 2013. ...........................................................
