Description A collection 12 of black and white photographs of Frank Shea. Includes (in image 4) a photograph of "The Contingent" outside the Blenheim Post Office c.1914.

Frank Shea (also referenced as F.P. O'Shea), son of Thomas Shea and Mary Shea (nee Mahoney) of Wakefield, Nelson. Brother of William John Shea of Blenheim. Frank was a member of the first contingent to leave Blenheim for the Boer War. Also fought in World War 1. Died 1965, aged 87
