Caption 24 This undated flood scene was taken in Market Place, looking west along High Street. The horse, and the men present are unconcerned about wet feet. The flat-bottomed punt in the township was a novelty. The two-storey building at left is part of the new Post Office and Government Offices. Just visible behind them is the two-storey Club Hotel. Mr C.H. Mills (with whip), is surveying the scene in his buggy with a friend. 2009.067.0026
