Collection MHS (unaccessioned) Textiles
Description Kete made with a traditional flat weave. Picot edging at top edge. Herringbone border top and bottom. Twisted handles tied to the top end. Interior has a checked pattern in green, red and natural. There are signs of mould on the exterior and a hole on one side. One handle is badly worn and the other hugely frayed. There is a small amount of original colour left on the exterior.
