Description Billy Carr's Hardware shop: No caption, but includes various tools and hardware. Several labels are unreadable, those that can be read include, Lawn mower blade sharpener, In fence wire strainer, fencing wire tightener, cabinet maker's drill. ?... or Grain Mill. Objects include 2 whet stones for sharpening knives and blade, various pots and kettles sitting on a small black stove, tins and sets of scales. This photograph is a wider view of 1987.006.0041.

"The black cooking stove [in] W. Carr's [is from] H. Booker", written by the Cob Cottage caretaker (either Lindsay Adams or the Gibsons) in a note to do with objects at the Cottage. Found in Archives Cob Cottage box, Bay 27/Shelf B, by Jenny Pierson on 26 May 2013. See related.
