Marlborough Historical Society has received a large number of photograph and postcard albums for its collection.

This exhibit displays a photograph album of Marlborough scenes. It has red leather covers with brown corners and spine. The photographs are pasted onto thick cardboard pages. There are 44 photographs in the album. The front and back covers have 2 smaller photographs each which have been added by the owner.

A business card glued to a front page, "J.R. Akersten, photographer. Representing Macey's Studios, Blenheim, Picton and Havelock", leads one to think the photographs are taken by him, but those photographs attributed all have "Macey" on them.
