Description Large framed tapestry, begun in 1832 by Allis Sidebotham and finished on 30th July 1836 when she was 20 years old. Allis sidebotham married Adam Jackson.

A textile's label reads: Adam Jackson 1816-1892. Married Allis Sidebotham in 1841 in Stockport, England. Came to New Zealand in 1842 in the 'Martha Ridgeway'. They had 2 sons and 4 daughters - one daughter, Alice Watson Jackson, married Richard Watson Parker on 21 July 1875. 8 daughters: Alice (Rush), Ida (died aged 20 years), Amy (Parker - 2nd cousin), Mary Emma (single), Violet (Wright), Rene (Gee), Doris (Logan), Gladys (Holdaway).
