Description White cotton night gown from Miss Lindsay Adams of Langley Dale. Object is second on the right in image 4.

Plain weave fine white linen full length nightgown with long sleeves. Broderei Anglaise trim(1.5cm) at cuff, around neckline and at front placet. There are five groups of 8 rows of very fine pintucking either side of the front placet (38cm). The gown is fastened with three mother-of-pearl buttons at front. It is completely hand stitched and has French seams.
