Description Black and white snapshot, "10 thousand ewes, passing Lake Bowscale". Bowscale Lake is known as Bowscale Tarn in the atlas and is between Molesworth and Tarndale on the way to Hanmer. Back of photograph is stamped with a shop name (unreadable), place Blenheim and the date March 4, 1930.
