Description |
A picnic party on one of Brownlee and Co's powered trollies.The drive system is under the man on the left and the cooling system is supplied by the barrell of water.. The gas engine was a low compresion diesel which was started with a blowlamp. It used bearing oil which was injected into the bulb on top of the cylinder. There are four men, four women and four children on the trolly and one man leaning on the back carrage. Copied 1961, from Dalton estate, Canvastown
