Description |
A vertical boilered steam engine used by Brownlee's on the Kaituna Valley tramway in the 1860's and '70's. It was Brownlee's first locomotive and was not satisfactory. There are seven men standing beside the engine holding axes and one man in the engine cab. There are three copies of this photograph, one copied in 1960 from Miss Rose Moore, Havelock. |
