Description 1 pit saw. A one-handled saw, used vertically. (As opposed to a cross-cut saw which has two handles and is used horizontally). Being returned to the stables to go in Ian Lyall's display.

Edward Guard says this saw is not one of the pit saws donated by the Guard family.

September 2009. Removed from Beavertown by Ian Lyall from Billy Carr's shop and lent to the Woodworkers Guild in Brayshaw Park. They are having it sharpened and will use it as part of their display in the 150th separation of Marlborough from Nelson anniversary Parade being held 2nd November 2009.
