John (Jack) Alexander [1916-1987] as a young boy, son of Lew [1882-1945] and Maggie [died 1940 nee Kelliher] Couper. Taken at Pelorus, either at his family's farm, The Chestnuts, or at his Aunt Winnie Couper's house across the Pelorus road.
