Description 
127 of 164 (8 x 10.7cm) glass plate negatives. Digital images of this negative have been made, put on a compact disk (see 2007.068.0004) and displayed here. John Alexander Couper [1847-1925], probably on his farm, known as Balleyhooley, on the north side of the Pelorus River. Note the sheep dog skulking in the background. It may have just been 'told off' for getting in the way of the photograph.
