Description 116 of 164 (8 x 10.7cm) glass plate negatives. Digital images of this negative have been made, put on a compact disk (see 2007.068.0004) and displayed here.

On the right is Sarah Haycock wearing glasses, the other three people are probably Haycock relatives. The Photograph is probably taken at the Haycock family home, Ashfield, opposite the showgrounds in Richmond, Nelson. After her mother died in 1887, ten year old Winnie Couper went to the Nelson area to live with some of her Mother's Haycock relatives.
