From Lew Couper's house, The Chestnuts, at Pelorus on the south side of the road looking across the Pelorus river to Will Couper's land at Balleyhooley on the north side of the river near Rai Falls. Will [1875-1971] and Lew [1882-1945] farmed both sides of the river.
