Description 61 of 164 (8 x 10.7cm) glass plate negatives. Digital images of this negative have been made, put on a compact disk (see 2007.068.0004) and displayed here.

Ida Gartner in a garden at Pelorus. Ida came to work for Lew and Maggie Couper when she was about 14 years old. She helped to look after the three small boys born between 1916-1919. Ida later married Harold Leov of Te Towaka. The Gartners were saw millers at Pelorus, of Danish descent.
