Couper families at the home of Percy and May Couper, Rai Valley, Christmas 1916. Left to right: May [nee Twidle, wife of Percy Couper]; Una [1910-2001 daughter of Will and Ivy Couper]; Rita [1905-1955 daughter of Will and Ivy Couper]; John [John Alexander 1847-1925] with Sinclair John [known as Sinclair 1912-1996 son of Will and Ivy Couper] on his knee; Dan [Daniel James 1872-1942, eldest son of John Alexander and Amy Grace nee Haycock, she died 1887] with his son Trevor [1911-1969] beside him; baby Jack [John Alexander 1916-1987] is held by his father Lew [Lewis Herbert 1882-1945, husband of Maggie]; in front of them is Malcolm [1903-1976 son of Dan]; and in front of him is Percy [Percy Charles 1878-1959, 3rd son of John Alexander and Amy Grace nee Haycock]; leaning against the veranda pole is Will [William Benjamin 1875-1971, 2nd son of John Alexander and Amy Grace nee Haycock]; the women at the rear, left to right, are Ivy [nee Twidle, wife of Will Couper]; Maggie [Margaret nee Kelliher, wife of Lew Couper] and Amy [Amy Winifred 1903-1995 daughter of Will and Ivy Couper].
