D.H.60G Gipsy Moth ZK - AAA The note on the back of this photograph reads: The christening of the 'Sir Charles Wakefield Moth, 9/3/29' It was known at the time as the 'Wakefield Aeroplane'. After a notable career, as a training aeroplane in Marlborough, it crashed on a front lawn in Renwick, in 1936.
