Description Leonard Simpson Woolley, served in World War 1. His photograph is not on display at MHS with those who died, but is included in Phil Beattie's database, suggesting he is one of the wounded sons of Francis and Caroline Woolley of Koromiko. The sacrifice of this family amounted to two sons who lost their lives, three sons who were wounded, and one other who served from 1915. Photograph scanned from contemporary magazine (1914-1918).
