Boy Entrants Camp In Back Country. The Boy Entrant School camp in the upper reaches of the Wairau Valley is well sited on the banks of the Wairau River. The above picture indicates the rugged nature of the country, with the camp dwarfed by the high, bush-clad slopes. The main camp is nearest the river, with the officers' quarters on the terrace above.
