Description Image from Negative number 209, published in The Marlborough Express, Friday, November 1, 1957, page 5.

Saved From Watery Grave. A 1913 Model T Ford which for years rusted under the trees on an Onamalutu farm and was to have been dumped into a hole in a river, is being resurrected by Lucas Bros. Ltd and is to be displayed as a show-piece at their garage premises. Formerly owned by Mr. C. Peake, of Onamalutu, it is being rebuilt with vintage parts collected from all over the district. In the drivers' seat in this photograph is Mr. J.D. Reid, who has collected most of the replacement parts, and Mr. T. May, who, as a former Model T owner, has done much of the rebuilding work.
