Farm Shed "Turns Turtle". This shed was not only blown down, it was completely turned over when it came to grips with a wild north-easterly wind recently. An implement shed on the property of Mr. B. Forsyth, Riverlands, it measured 30ft by 16ft and had one open side facing the east. The wind apparently lifted it cleanly off the ground, leaving untouched a car which was inside, and dumped it on its roof, throwing several of the concrete piles up to 25 yards. |
