Rowing Season Opens. Blenheim Rowing Club members marked the opening of the 1957-58 season on Saturday with a brief ceremony at the clubhouse. Here is the official party. From the left: The Patron, Mr. A.M. Hale, who declared the season open, Messrs L.A. Workman (president), L. Gibbons (Wairau Rowing Club), W.E. Gibbons (Marlborough Amateur Rowing Association), Miss H. Pacey (Picton Rowing Club), and Mr. L. Saul (club captain).
