Danger! Flagpole Raising. One of the more spectacular tests at the Boy Scout field day at the Bluegums, Taylor Pass Road, on Saturday, was the flag-pole making and raising. Some of the competitors had a little difficulty and a few of the flag-poles (Scout staffs lashed together) touched the ground at both ends. One which was on the borderline is shown here.
