"An informal photograph of the Deputy-High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, Mr D.M. Cleary, and his wife, taken outside the Borough Council Chambers yesterday. Mr Cleary made a short stop at Blenheim in the course of a tour of the nothern end of the South Island, and yesterday morning he and his wife had morning tea with the Mayor and Mayoress, councillors, Council executive staff, and the President and secretary of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce".
