"It may rain, but still workmen of the Blenheim Borough Council carry on their private war on weeds in the streets. The spray they use is a coal derivative and is highly effective in the wet, as the rain helps it penetrate into the ground. Seen here are (left to right) Messrs B.P. Schutt, K. Ritson and H.E. Holmes".
