"2 of 3: With the aid of the Railways Department's mobile crane, men from Eckford's and Marlborough Transport assist in getting one of the massive side frames into the new press-room extension at the back of The Express building. The press is being installed in what was the main paper store; this had to be lengthened to accommodate the machne, which is 36 feet long and 13 feet hight." |
