"Grand old volunteers: Captain A.G. Baggett and Mr. P.T. Bowden, of Picton, willingly give their services free in the construction of Picton's new sound shell. They regard it as "their bit" towards the project - working with hammer and saw practically every afternoon of the week. On Saturdays a real team moves in, comprising Mr. W.L. Terrill, a builder, and his staff, and other helpers."
