Feature At Rose Garden. This maple tree is one of 70 trees and shrubs which will feature as part of the centennial rose garden in Pollard Park. Borough Council staff are well advanced with this season's section of the project and in this photograph Messrs G.C. Woolley, head gardener at Pollard Park, and G.D. Young, superintendent of parks and reserves, are seen carrying out planting work.
