Schools Break Up Today In Pictures: Girls of V Upper at Marlborough College, Pat Cresswell, Audrey Hamilton, Janice Currie, Diana Broughton, Miriam Hind and Evelyn Ford, make light of the task of packing up before breaking up. Bright sunshine today gave promise of an enjoyable holiday, but it seemed that as far as the College was concerned it was closing just in time before the advance of flu, which was beginning to take toll of the pupils. This morning 112 pupils were absent and during the morning periods a further 50 were sent home.
