Date 1960s
Description Cream Bedford truck, 6 cylinder, petrol engine, model J.3. [The plate inside the truck (see image 4) says Bedford. Vauxhall Motors England, model J102, chassis number 780 5704, with another number, possibly the serial number below that - 2/J1/2/3.] Built by General Motors, it was owned and used by the Marlborough Electric Power Board in the 1960s. Last serviced in 1991 and has a license plate DY5039. The orange lights on each side in the front are the blinkers and it has an aerial for a two-way radio. The heater in the cab is an add-on.

Owned jointly by the Marlborough Electric Power Board, Marlborough Historical Society and Marlborough Vintage Farm Machinery Society.
