A red TD6 International crawler tractor - serial number TDBK27165t7CM. Donated in January 1985 by Graham Gibson of Springlands. It starts with petrol and then works with diesel. It came from America as a crawler tractor and was fitted in Christchurch with a Hamilton bulldozer blade. Originally owned by Adams of Langley Dale, it was in the last shipment of International tractors shipped from U.S.A. A sign on the side, as well as model and serial numbers, says, "Made in U.S.A. by International Harvester Co., Chigaco, Illinois. 1610 RPM Max. idle speed. Do not overload."
Adams of Langley Dale were the first owners. They sold to Darcy Gibson of Kaituna. From Darcy Gibson to his son Graham Gibson. Graham Gibson donated it to Vintage Farm Machinery Society.
