| Description |
White sailors cap, size 6 7/8th. Made by the National Hat M? Co. 1844 [company date] and stamped "Naval". Has a black band with bow and the letters H.M.S. The size can be adjusted by tightening the khaki lining using string. The dark blue chin ribbon strap is tied onto the string.
