Abstract |
Small parchment bound ledger originally owned by Dr Renwick, Dumgree. It has a broken brass clasp. The address in the front is Dr Renwick, Care of A. Morrison and Co, 10 Austin Friars, London. There is an index in the front. The first part of the book has been used by Dr Renwick and generally lists payments to farm workers and purchases. This section ends in 1862 The next section is by another hand and starts in 1881 to 1890 and lists sales of farm produce. There are several pages removed then the final section starts in 1919 and lists employees at Dumgree and their wages. |
