Abstract Doctor Thomas Renwick's passport.
There is a certificate, number 64565, glued into the front of the passport folder which is the authority to travel on the Continent "without let or hindrance". given by John Earl Russell, Viscount Amberley.
Eight pages in the book are stamped for entry to various countries.
The passport is covered with brown leather stamped on the inside of the front flap with the stamp of W.J.Adams, Passport Agent, 59 Fleet Street, London. Dr T. Renwick is stamped in gold on the outside.
There is an ivory scribe with a brass end inside the leather folder.
